Planty Park and the green belt(Expedia)

Day 104        29 May 2017

Melanie thought that it would be nice for us to kill two birds with one stone and take our doggie friend Benny for a four km walk around the green belt called Planty Park which circles the old town of Krakow.

Exercise and a good sightseeing opportunity.Benny has a special pass which allows him to travel on the tram.So choosing our time carefully we caught the tram to one spot beyond the centre of town and then trotted around at our own pace admiring the city walls, the amazing Wawel Castle and just the sheer beauty of a wonderful green space preserved for people to enjoy.Stopped for lunch at the Pino Restaurant just off a nice square  the plac Szczepański and then made it safely home again.
