Spiritual Day in Tokyo

Day 31 and 32 – 11th and 12th November 2015

Today, after two days dedicated to shopping we agree a little spiritual and natural life is needed for balance. Close to us is both a recommended Shrine and a recommended garden.

We headed off to visit the Meiji shrine set in beautiful gardens and woods.

Finding the entrance to the Shinjuku Gyoen National Gardens proved a little difficult but once there we found beautiful gardens and an incredible exhibition of Chrysanthemums was being held. One display was a single root with 100’s of flowers of the one trunk.

On the way back we find almost opposite our apartment an interesting building Design Festa a free space for upcoming artists.

As we have done several nights before it was off to Takashimaya store for dinner in tonight.

We paid a visit to the wonderful UNBY store where we bought unusual last minute gifts including a USB stick imitating an American Express Card. We left behind many other items we needed in our life!!

Then it was train to the airport. We returned our wonderful little modem and headed to the flight. Jetstar this time seemed better than the one on the way up.
